Years of Experience: Proven experience in resource management, workforce planning, or project management (7+ years preferred)

Job Purpose:

We seek a dynamic and organised Resource Manager to oversee the effective allocation and utilization of organizational resources to meet project and business objectives. The Resource Manager will collaborate with various departments to ensure the right resources are assigned to the right tasks, balance workload across teams, and drive efficiency in resource planning and management processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Resource Planning and Allocation:
    • Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to optimize utilization
      across multiple projects and departments.
    • Collaborating with project managers and team leads to assign the appropriate
      resources based on skills, availability, and project requirements.
  2. Workforce Management:
    • Monitor resource capacity and demand to forecast future resource needs.
    • Conduct skills-gap analysis and recommend training or hiring solutions to address resource deficiencies.
  3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track resource utilization, productivity, and availability, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
    • Provide insights into potential bottlenecks or conflicts and propose actionable
      solutions.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    1. Act as the primary point of contact between management, project teams, and
      HR for resource-related discussions.
    2. Ensure open communication and alignment of resource plans with organizational
      goals.
  5. Process Improvement:
    • Continuously review and improve resource management processes, policies, and tools to enhance efficiency and adaptability.
    • Introduce and manage resource management software or tools as required.
  6. Conflict Resolution:
    • Resolve resource conflicts by mediating discussions between teams and ensuring
      fair distribution of workload.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have experience in EUC (End User Computing) and FSO (Field Services
    Operations).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
  • Proficiency in resource management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Workday).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field.
