Years of Experience: Proven experience in resource management, workforce planning, or project management (3+ years preferred). Proven experience as an IT Coordinator or in a similar role.

Job Purpose:

The IT Resource Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the allocation of IT resources, including personnel, hardware, and software, to support various projects and operational needs. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments to understand their IT requirements, scheduling resources effectively, and ensuring optimal utilization to meet organizational objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Resource Allocation and Scheduling:
    • Coordinate and schedule IT personnel for specific client engagement projects within defined geographies or practices.
    • Manage the deployment of hardware and software resources to meet project timelines and operational demands.
    • Develop and maintain resource management plans to ensure efficient utilization.
  2. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between IT departments and other organizational units to understand and fulfil resource needs.
    • Communicate with department heads to assess and address their IT resource requirements.
    • Provide technical support or guidance to all employees as needed.
  3. Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Monitor resource usage and ensure efficient utilization across various departments.
    • Track and report on resource availability, usage, and forecast future needs based on project demands.
    • Prepare performance reports and dashboards for management review.
  4. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for improving resource allocation processes and implement best practices.
    • Assist in the development of resource allocation strategies to enhance efficiency.
    • Support the implementation of resource management tools and systems.
  5. Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure that all IT resource activities comply with organizational policies and standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of resource allocation, usage, and licensing.
    • Assist in budget planning and resource cost management.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have experience in EUC (End User Computing) and FSO (Field Services Operations).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in resource management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Workday).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field.
