Job Title: Onsite Support Specialist (OSS)

Location: Thailand- Chonburi

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a hands-on Onsite Support Specialist to deliver deskside support, manage end-user devices, and provide infrastructure and meeting room technology assistance. This role is critical to ensuring seamless IT operations and exceptional user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Device Management

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Replace faulty devices with spare stock.
  • Coordinate warranty repairs with OEMs.
  • Perform device imaging and deployment.
  • Maintain local spare inventory.

 

Asset Management

  • Update asset records in CMDB.
  • Track device assignments and movements.
  • Conduct periodic asset audits.
  • Manage device lifecycle from deployment to disposal.

 

Infrastructure Support

  • Provide hands-and-feet support for Data Center tasks.
  • Assist network teams with physical equipment access.
  • Support infrastructure installations and upgrades.
  • Participate in P1/P2 incident resolution.

 

Meeting & Event Support

  • Conduct pre-event equipment testing.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance during meetings.
  • Troubleshoot AV equipment issues.
  • Perform proactive meeting room checks at dedicated sites.

 

Tech Bar Services (Optional)

  • Offer walk-in support at designated locations.
  • Provide quick fixes and minor repairs.
  • Provision spare devices.
  • Guide users on common IT issues.

 

Ad Hoc Projects

  • Take on IT-related assignments as required with flexibility and adaptability.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Hands-on experience in deskside technical support.
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting skills with OEM coordination.
  • Knowledge of IMACD services (Install, Move, Add, Change, Disposal).
  • Experience supporting AV equipment and meeting room technology.
  • Familiarity with Data Center and network infrastructure support.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Education Qualifications:
Experience with CMDB tools and asset management processes.
Exposure to incident management (P1/P2 resolution).
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent are a plus.
